Westernesse was afflicted with black mold caused by defective windows. In response, the owners opted for a complete remodel, essentially bringing it to the studs and
rebuilding the home. Every part of this house has been rebuilt from the exterior in, trans- forming its original modern contemporary style, to a more traditional ambiance.

The exterior overhaul included installation of stone, stucco, and Vande Hey tile roofing, along with new Jeld Wen windows and custom-built doors and garage doors. Copper gutters, downspouts, and flashing were added throughout the main structure and pool house.

Inside, the home seamlessly continues the aesthetic established by its exterior transformation. Intricate details such as a sweeping handcrafted staircase, a custom cherry-paneled office, hand-plastered and wax-coated ceilings, and a deck and veranda overlooking the pool contribute to its breathtaking appeal.
