Prior to Paragon’s involvement, City Bella condominium complex experienced years’ worth of long-standing water issues with the exterior decks on the property. Through investigation, our forensic engineering partner, Encompass Engineering, uncovered that the exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS) had been incorrectly sealed. The original seal allowed moisture to get in and become trapped, leading to extensive damage to the decks’ untreated framing.

Paragon’s trained and knowledgeable team worked directly with the City Bella team and engineers to remediate the extensive exterior water intrusion. The damage was so great that Paragon Commercial Builders removed all the complex’s decks. In turn, the roofs of each affected unit had to be shored while new decks were rebuilt. In all, all decks at City Bella were rebuilt and the building’s entire EIFS system was replaced with a new high-performance system.
